Toms River Elite Roofing is a roofing company serving homeowners, property managers and businesses in Toms River, NJ and the surrounding shore communities. We built our reputation on a simple idea: tell people the truth about their roof, then do the work the way we would want it done on our own houses.

Our Approach

Every leak call starts in the attic as well as on the roof, so we find where water actually gets in before we price anything. We give a straight answer on whether a roof can be repaired before replacement ever comes up. When a roof does need replacing, our written scope lists tear-off, decking, underlayment, flashing, ventilation and gutters as separate lines, so you can hold our estimate beside any other and compare them item by item. If we find damaged decking once the old roof is off, we photograph it and show you before replacing it, at a per-sheet price already written into the contract.

The details that do not show from the street get the same care. Step, counter and chimney flashing is replaced with every new roof rather than reused, and attic ventilation is checked on every replacement, because a roof that cannot breathe wears out from underneath. Near the bay and the ocean, we choose nails, drip edge and flashing for salt air instead of using standard stock. On raised houses, we plan staging and lifts for the extra height before the crew arrives, and on roofs with solar panels, the removal and reinstall are in the schedule from the start.

We also respect the paperwork side of a roof. Our contracts follow New Jersey’s home improvement rules, including the three-day cancellation notice. In adult communities and condominiums, we check the association’s or co-op’s documents to confirm who holds the roof before writing an estimate.

After a storm, we photograph and write up the damage for your own claim and will meet the insurance adjuster on site when you ask. Sellers can get a written roof condition report to hand to a buyer’s inspector. And at the end of every work day, the driveway, yard and gutters are cleaned, including a magnet sweep for roofing nails.
